Feb 6, 2024 | Campaigns, News

“Hi my name is _________ [For Richmond residents: I live in the ____ community in Richmond] and I’m asking the City to stop the raids at massage parlours because they endangering women engaged in sex work.

Many woman have fled businesses to work in apartments where they’re more at risk of violence. As politicians aiming to keep constituents safe, I’m urging you to think about how these raids have put workers at risk.

These women are part of your community, Richmond is their home and they deserve the same compassion, respect and protection as any other resident.”
