This video was created to introduce the criminal laws and immigration regulations that law enforcement may enforce at massage parlours.
It explains how criminalization of migrant and immigrant sex workers operates through multiple layers of law and policy, including the Protection of Communities and Exploited Persons Act (PCEPA), human trafficking laws, and the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR).
This project was generously funded by the Law Foundation of British Columbia.
